Despite their standardized packing boxes, the quantity of products within each box varied, leading to the inconsistency in barcoding.

Without such barcoding, it was getting difficult for the organization to identify and track products during transportation which further hampered the logistical efficiency.
Solutions Implemented
Dynamic Barcode Generation
Utilizing ERPNext, Kanak Infosystems customized and developed the mechanism for dynamically generating unique barcodes based on product quantities within each of the packing boxes.
Unique Labelling Protocol
A labelling protocol was established under which the label carried the following information: Logo of the Company, Unique Barcode for each Label, Number of Label/ Total Labels, Product Name, Delivery Branch, Product Category, Company Details in Footer. Amongst these, the quantity field was made to be configurable. This solved the issue of having different quantities in the packing boxes.
